Together We Stand

Ephesians 4:1-6
As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.
Tonight we lost our pastor whom we will miss. But he is a prison for the Lord. This is a self-enslavement act of surrender. We all have been called to be used by God and each of us have a different calling on our lives just as Bro. Ross has been called to plant a church. So what is your calling?
The most important issue is that within the church body we must stay unified in the Spirit which the Spirit gives to us through a covenant of peace. I Corinthians 13 states the same thing.
If I speak in the tongues[a] of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames,[b] but have not love, I gain nothing.
What we must always remember is that unity, peace, and love are more important that being right or wrong. It is a lot easier working through the rights and wrongs in a spirit of unity, peace, and love.
So this is a call to bond. Will you bond with me to unite together? We will not let Satan attack our church. We will stand up for one another and we will be more unified now more than ever. Well you join me?

YES! All my prayers are for Faith Baptist Church, that we be unified listen to our Lord as He directs our paths and do His will accordingly. May we all pray together, love each other and unify!!
Bro. Brian –
Great article! Thanks for all you have done for Cindy and I. You have been a blessing to us and our lives. We will be praying for Faith as they seek unity and God’s will for the future. Keep loving, singing and sharing God’s Word! We love you all.
To All,
Seems like yesterday that my family and I lost our beloved Pastor
at First Church Genoa. Seems like yesterday that we found our
new home at Faith. We have learned that no one can stop the
will of God. Bro. Ross left some pretty big shoes to fill, but I know
that God can fill them. My prayers are for James and Cindy and
for Faith Church. We will continue to prosper and grow!
In Christ’s Love
Although we will miss Brother Ross, we must remember we serve God not a man. God will provide the man to lead this great church. God Bless Faith Baptist and all its loyal members.
